Signing Back In!

So its been way to long! I apologize for not keeping up on the website its just that life has a funny way of complicating everything sometimes...BUT..im back and should be back for a good while. I might start doing videos instead of blogs just for the sake of saving me some time typing and editing. So I wanted to talk to you guys on a couple of things. The first is my lovely iPhone...i found some fantastic apps that have helped me on my couponing! The first is a database featured by Lady Savings! She also features a android compatible application! It cost about .99 cents and is updated on a weekly basis so it features all the coupons that come out in the regular Sunday Paper. The layout is relatively simple just type in the brand and it will give you the coupons and information. BUT you do have to update the app regularly to get all the coupons.

This is especially helpful if you organize your coupons by insert date. At the moment im playing with how im organzing my coupons...im just not sure...and the only downside of this application is that in my area (Stockton, CA) a lot of times we dont get that great of coupons..or we get skipped out on a lot of them...So this brings me to my next app.

Track my coupons  cost $1.99 (which is a bit pricy for apps) allows you to manually add in information concerning gift cards and coupons. It will remind you when your gift card or coupon is about to expire and will let you search through all of them by entering the name or brand. Now this app is not for the faint of heart...it does need some work as far as updates are concerned but if your like me and don't like rummaging through your coupon book every 2 min to see if you have a coupon this would be the best way to go. ITS WORK you do have to manually add in each coupon which can be a big downside if you don't have a lot of time. BUT it most certainly cuts down some of the time you will spend in the store. The community is hoping that they will eventually add a scanner on the application that would allow you to just scan the coupon (which would be heaven i would even pay $10 and that's huge for me!!!!) but no word on when or if that function will ever make it.


Now on to the second...as much as it pains me for ethical and moral reasons i have stopped shopping at Walgreen's...even though i love their deals i encountered a situation and i just cannot agree with the company. With that being said i will no longer blog on them :*(   I hope that you can all understand....
